1. Based on your Satisfaction/Importance table 2 things stand out = find artifacts fast & maintain them. Why you chose to build product about alignment with teams?
2. How have you got 40 companies sign in? Thats impressive
3. Do you think digging into "why" teammates misalign and not ask extra questions would shape your product idea differently?
1. It came down to willingness to adopt and product wedge. At the time we didnt have the resources to get access to their libraries nor the ability to keep them up to date like we could do today with LLMs
2. Cold outreach via Twitter and LinkedIn, it helps that I was targeting PMs as they were more responsive to me because I was one.
3. That problem was multi layered and complex so we had focused on areas we had a highest ability to influence.
It's really helpful to see the process you followed in detail. Great write-up!
I'm curious did you research the competitors and other alternative solutions in the market you mentioned in your final learnings before starting this process?
Thanks for the feedback Ali, really appreciate the support.
Yes, I had searched for a solution many times for myself but could not find anything at the time. Normally not seeing any competition is a red flag but I decided to go deeper on exploring because I thought it may have been due to Product Management being less established than other tech disciplines. The competition mentioned had only started to appear publicly during the time I started.
Hey Ian, love what you share!
Have couple questions:
Thanks Ira
